Women in Kenya are sick of the increase in violence against them. Over 500 women were killed in Kenya from 2016 to 2023, according to Africa Data Hub. Three-quarters of the killings were at the hands of a person the victim knew. At least 10 Kenyan women were victims of femicide in January alone.
